At Awarehouse Studio, we often work with complex production pipelines, ambitious ideas and emerging filmmaking technologies. But this time, we wanted to explore the opposite.

Can AI filmmaking capture something small, warm and familiar?

Something that could unfold in an ordinary home or backyard. A quiet moment in the evening light, surrounded by those practical little things you never knew you needed until you saw them in the right place.

That became the starting point for our latest AI-generated spec commercial, inspired by Clas Ohlson.

With recent advances in generative AI and virtual production, it’s becoming increasingly possible to maintain precise control over product placement, visual consistency and environments. For commercial filmmaking, this opens up new creative possibilities, allowing us to explore how everyday products can naturally become part of a story.

But the ambition here wasn’t to create something extraordinary or larger than life.

Quite the opposite.

We wanted to capture that familiar feeling when evening settles in, the lights come on and the garden still feels alive. A small, peaceful moment where functionality meets atmosphere, and the ordinary becomes something worth noticing.

For us, it’s an interesting reminder that the potential of AI in advertising isn’t limited to spectacular imagery or elaborate visual effects. Sometimes, its greatest value lies in helping us tell simpler stories with greater creative freedom.

And perhaps that’s where some of the most interesting possibilities for the future of commercial filmmaking begin.

A small experiment in everyday storytelling, inspired by a brand we’ve always appreciated.

Big fans of Clas Ohlson.
